Oops! I was late with the Friday Theme....

So lets just pretend its Friday again :) lol

Friday Question...

What is your favorite season and why?

My Answer: I love the Summer... especially Alaska summers. They don't get very hot, 80ish MAX! I love the sun around the clock and the fishing and outdoor stuff there is to do here during the summer.

What can't you live without?

I'm going to start posting question blogs every Friday, just for fun :)

Today is What can't you live without?

I'll do 3 things, then everyone comment on mine and tell me what it is that YOU can't live without! And this is of course family and kids aside.

1. Lipgloss/Chapstick (I can't stand to have dry lips)
2. Cell phone (for obvious reasons, I can't shut up LOL)
3. Hair clay (even if I can't have one other single hair product, I needs the spikes people!)

I just had to share....

We love Tristan's preschool Teacher, Mr. Clayton. He is awesome... very funny with the kids. And Tristan has more than once come home saying "Mr. Clayton is sooooooo funny Mommy...." and then goes on to tell me why he was funny that day.
He has a great sense or humor and is very sarcastic with the boys, and Lord knows thats about the ONLY way to survive in my house ha ha ha. So we figured if nothing else, Tristan would warm right up to that :)
Well I have to share something that Mr. Clayton sent home today that shows his personality so well!

Dear Parents,
Next Wednesday, November 26, our class with be having a pie party in the afternoon as our Thanksgiving celebration. I am looking for three volunteers to bring in a pie, one to bring in a can of wihpped cream, and another to bring in plates and spons. If you would be able to bring any of these items, please sign below and let me know. Looking back, the children all seem to like apple and pumpkin pie. Any child bringing in a pecan pie will be given extra credit as this is Mr. Clayton's favorite, but no pressure there. Thank you so much.

Alaska Winter .... here we come....

How THIS for a nice early Alaska winter temp?

I know its tacky, but I have to brag....

As some know I joined curves just shy of 2 months ago. Aside from vacation and a few days of my muscles giving me alot of trouble, I go every day to the gym, every single day! (except weekends of course)

Today was my weight and measure day. I was sooooooooo not looking forward to it because of vacation and the few days of muscle issues were recent so I was sure that there would be no change or a change in the wrong direction. I WAS WRONG!!!!

Now I'm quite confused about this but I lost NO weight, not a pound! BUT I lost 1.5 inches in my waist, 2.25 in my abdomen, 1 inches in my hips and 3 on my thighs, which means 1.5 per thigh. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?! I mean I know people will not lose weight but still see a difference. But thats a huge inch difference to not see a weight loss in my opinion. I am so happy about the inches lost (maybe they measured me wrong lol), so I won't complain about a total of 7.75 inches for a change, but still odd to me to not lose a single pound with it.

Oh well........ on to more working out. I've got 20 lbs to go before John's work Christmas Party lol!!!

Tristan's 6th Birthday Party!

Wow, what a turnout!

We held the party at a place called Monkey Bizness which is basically a smaller warehouse filled with bounce houses and a huge indoor "jumping pillow", as they called it. The kids had a BLAST! John and I decided that we will never hold parties at our house again... it was WAY more fun to have it out, well and less clean up :)

Here are a ton of pics from the party. Tristan made out like a bandit. It ended up that 24 kids showed up to the party :) The more the merrier!!

Make sure you look for the picture of all of the gifts on the counter, it was insane, like Xmas at our house last night after we got home!!!

Sooo as Tristan's 6th birthday is quickly approaching I've been getting pretty sentimental lately. I've found myself going back in old folders and look at his and Jacob's baby pictures and missing those babies. I love my big boys to pieces don't get me wrong.... but sometimes I secretly wish I could go back in time and hug the babies they used to be. It's almost like they are different people it's been so long since they were teeny tiny!!

Just thought I'd share some of my very very favorite baby pictures of my sweet boys!

Some random recent pics...

Here is Jacob last night finishing off the cherry pie lol

I think he likes it ....

I "decorated" my friends face and her daughters for Halloween... I wish I could've done a better job on her daughters but I had to work around her passing out on me and then having to be taken to the ER and then coming back to finish it lol. (Glad you are ok Sammy!!)

Here's Tristan helping Daddy close up the table (I love this one for some reason). I'm not sure who's working harder (look at John's face)

Trick or Treating (Alaska Style!)

Hey Everyone!

I hope everyone had a great Halloween and the kids all got a ton of candy :)
Mine did good. We weren't out for too long because it was super chilly.

Here are a couple pics from our Trick or Treating. And just to add.... obviously there is snow so its cold but it was a freezing cold..... not even 10 degrees outside (hence the snow suits under the costumes!)
